I was getting a ton of chatter after 6 mo. on the stage 2 URD, but in URDs defense, I would say it was shorty workmanship from the shop I used.

3000 mi ago I had a great shop here in AZ install a OEM, and it’s been fantastic. Much of the 3000mi was hard overland, and it’s smooth as butter.

    chatter usually comes from flywheels

this is why outsourcing to shops is not good
doing it yourself can confirm it was done properly
    and is also much cheaper

I didn't keep track of the total mileage since the install, but I was driving 65 miles a day, five or six days a week.

I had the lightweight URD flywheel installed at the same time as the clutch, I wouldn't be surprised if the shop contaminated it. When I had the OEM clutch reinstalled recently, I also had them install a stock flywheel. All is great now. Like I said above, I don't blame URD for any of this, it was my fault for using the lowest bidder and getting shotty workmanship.

There are a variety of brands available. Is yours slipping?

ACT Clutch, Centerforce, Clutch Masters, Exedy, Spec Clutch.

There are some options for you to pursue through, the various torque ratings, styles, and price points.

I was called a "Racer Boy" recently, and aim to honor that remark with the fact that my favorites are the clutches that I have used racing. Exedy and Spec. :D

Thanks. Mine failed altogether. Wouldn't go into gear with the engine running. Had to shut off the engine, put it in gear, then restart to move it. This happened two weeks ago...
