I was kind of surprised when most of the conversions online were using hub motors. I forgot which company it was but they had the 8000w hub motor on alibaba for like $300 if I remember. Not bad. I’m sure I could find a rolling dirt bike frame for cheap too. I haven’t gotten to the battery part of the research haha

I have an 2010 rm85 I’m thinking about taking the motor out of to make a go cart. It might be a good starter platform

Thinking about selling my trd off road wheels, wondering if anyone on here is interested before I post to the main page. You have to add air once a month due to a small leak on one (not sure which since I had the dealer take them off). If no one is interested, what do y’all think is a reasonable price? Also thinking about coming up this weekend, @Hafaday you taking the taco or Jeep? I should have my compressor, deflator and BaoFeng radio on Christmas! Rock sliders will be next....

You should be able to get at least $400 or more for those...I sold a set in NC for $650, but that was back in 2016 and off of a previous Taco. Reasonable prices for a set nowadays can be found in the B/S/T thread.

For my current truck, I actually regret getting rid of my stockers. Just food for thought...

I almost don’t want to either... I’m thinking about keeping and making one my spare, or the one in a million chance that I will care about MPH in the future when a kid comes along. I’m assuming you don’t have the same reasoning, care to elaborate on why you wish you would’ve kept them?

I'm a "just in case" type of guy, which is why I'm not sure why I got rid of them in the first place. I had/have the space to store them. Honestly, I know that I will eventually either sell my current truck or pass it along to one of my boys. Would have been nice to have the stockers on hand to throw back on the truck and keep my Ray10s. Plus, I could have used them for passing recon inspection on Oahu without bothering with fender flare extensions. Granted, I had no idea I would ever come back to Hawaii when I sold them, but...hindsight is 20/20!

That's a horrible idea. What time?

Haymarket sounds fun, but I'll probably see you in Harrisonburg.

Before you post them, make sure to review the "BUY/SELL/TRADE RULES". The moderators are sticklers for this one, and folks get a little vacation from TW all the time

I’ll take it as a sign that I should keep them. Hidden safely under the house. Not today moderators.
