i wouldn't even say these are mounted. Its just held against the side of the bed with bungees. And yeah you got a point. However, these jugs wont get destroyed from tumbling around in the bed lets say during a crash. They are kind of indestructible. Theres a reason why our military uses these. I keep the OEM bed cover covering the bed at nearly all times so it wont fly out in a roll over i guess.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
    2 things with that.
First, mount the 2 drivers as close to possible to each other. That will help the 2 woofers act more like 1 larger driver and improve sound.
Second, make sure that you actually have a sealed enclosure. If you are using the sheet metal of the truck as part of it, dampen it heavily with something like Noico mat.[/QUOTE]

Great suggestions. I am in the process of doing just that. The platform I am using will be layered plywood for strength and density. Will be running the subs in parallel with a coil so I will be at 2.+ Ohms. Won't need much volume I think because of the size of the cabin.

If at all possible, make a brace out of wood that is something like 3/4" wood that is right between the 2 "Siamese" mounted woofers that attaches to the floor pan below. Less flex on your sub baffle will also make for a cleaner output.

I installed my new Victory 4x4 front Strike bumper. Ordered it Nov 6th and had it November 16th. :bananadance: Apparently they just had a large batch made and mine got snuck into that.

New headlights installed! Took longer than expected to remove OEM ones and then installing the new wire harness was not fun, but overall I am very satisfied with he results. The RBG controls for the Halos and DRL are fun to play with. Better pics coming soon.

Popped my tow-cherry this past weekend going camping at Garner State Park. Quickly realized that I had next to no trailer reversing skills but was able to figure it out after multiple attempts and some *not so gentle* guidance from the gf. It was a great time! IMG_6455.jpg IMG_6430.jpg
