    I'm doing well. Just been pretty busy with work and then come home mentally tired/beat.

    Speaking of comms, I need to redo my CB mount. Let me know if I can cruise on over one weekend. I can guarantee you it will be almost an all day thing so just letting you know ahead of time.

    The main thing is I will need help removing/sliding my bed as that would be a HUGE help.

    Anyways, let me know when you have any next available "free weekend"... Saturday and/or Sunday... either one.

    That stainless steel piece that I cut with the cutting wheel is the piece that is rusting? I have the exact same mounting bracket that I use for my HAM antenna and even had to drill out the original hole to fit an SO-239 barrel adapter and it isn't rusting at all?

    My guess is that the heat from the cutting wheel did something to the bracket??? :notsure:

    All I know is that both brackets are from the exact same manuf and both are stainless steel.

    Anyways, I need to eventually change that bracket out and do a few more things while I have the bed apart. Hopefully the mounting bolt for the bed isn't stripped out though???

    But yeah, there are a few things I need to address and hopefully come up with a good solution. :fingerscrossed:

    Btw, when I say "mounting bold", in that case I am referring to the truck bed bolt. On the 1st Gen there are like 6x bolts, maybe 8x. The point being though is that the bolt RIGHT BEHIND DRIVER (i.e. left front corner) of the bed is possibly stripped out? When I was removing the bolt the last time, it was SUPER HARD and was squealing/squeaking really LOUD with just about every turn. When I was finished and was bolting the bed back on I made sure to lubricate it just enough, but it was still acting like it was stripping out and then all of a sudden that dreaded "turn"... as if it stripped and wouldn't really tighten anymore??? THAT SUCKED!!!

    Anyways, if/when we do it, you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Going back to the actual antenna bracket, that thing is starting to scare me it is rusting that bad and seems to be "bleeding" over to the truck bed "holes". Again, you'll see... that is why I need to do this fairly soon. Heck, I just might even try doing something this weekend or next since I have a "long weekend" next week. "F" the turkey, I need to work on my truck!!! :annoyed::goingcrazy::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:
