You can deactive ACIS by setting the other (non RPM) ACIS maps all to 0. But you will lose so much power if you do.

I would have to investigate this. When the ACIS is on, at higher RPM, at the transition point at 3500 RPM (not ACIS, but load mode) it could be the ACIS or it could be the load and power mode, where the transmission has a delay timer.

For the people dialing in the clunky downshifts coming to a stop what have you changed?

Do you need anything for the investigation? Could we slap timelines on it?
    Thanks

Sometimes this can be fixed in tuning. On some trucks it a result of low trans fluid.

Not related to lack of the fluid. Tranny drops from 3 to 1, bypassing 2nd.

Correct. Not related to cold temperatures either. Fix is to raise the 3-2 downshift 3-5mph above the 2-1 downshift so it no longer skips second.

Is the understanding still that any table with 'Speed KPH' in an axis needs multiplied by 1.13 to convert to actual observed speed? Some WAG calculations seemed to support that based on when low gear shifts occur as I depart my neighborhood.

and the biggest bonus to me is not worrying about bricking. Everytime I update via TS I'm a big bundle of nerves, I don't wanna be responsible for a bricked ECU when I'm just trying to help people out by updating them

Interesting, because mine only clunks when the truck isn't warmed up yet. Usually only the first couple of stops.

There’s a few different clunks that I’ve seen.

    1) Trans tuning (downshift coming to stop)
    2) low trans fluid
    3) driveline slop

It could be any one of them, or all of them.

It might be exasperated by cold temps and your truck isnt sensitive once its warm. My truck did it warm or cold.

Anybody w/ a 2021 AT file willing to send out some screenshots of 3rd and 4th gear Torque converter settings? All Lock and unlock maps would be amazing...
I'm thinking about patching them into the 17 and seeing what it's like.

I'm gonna give changing the downshift tables a shot to see if that does the trick.

So I think I was able to dial in the TC unlocking in 5th under high speeds&loads (climbing the steep grades at freeway speeds).
This helps to bring RPMS up to 2600 and prevent (in my case) a dreadful downshift to 4th.
I set TC Locking 1-4 5th gear like this
    upload_2020-11-19_14-40-10.jpg

TC Unlocking 1-4 5th gear like this
    upload_2020-11-19_14-41-7.jpg

Also I bumped numbers in Throttle Limit S gear 5 for 27-44 range by a couple of points
    upload_2020-11-19_14-43-39.jpg
Depends on the setup, you may play with the numbers.

So i got TC off long enough to build up the speed to keep the momentum. There was no vibration/jerking, etc.. Hoping @OVTune will help with upshift and I can call it.

I've changed my primary shifting tables and cruise control shifting has changed with it. (You can confirm this by using the cruise stalk to accelerate to a shift point.) Also, TC un/lock #xx gear (1) tables are used while in cruise control (on 04B04... non adaptive, of course).

I'm not an ECT guy; so, I haven't checked if CC uses ECT maps while in ECT, etc.

Seems to me, the only thing we don't have access to is the setting for how aggressively the CC will try to accelerate... unless OV is going to ADD a separate map; but, that doesn't seem likely.

Wow, when that was posted earlier, I thought the same thing.
All we need is the 2021 Torque converter settings.
I will reach out to him.
