vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

    I have not tried it but I am suspicious that the acceleration tables being adjusted would help with cruise control. Word on the street is those tables use the inclinometer on the vehicle. So if you're going up a hill and it's reading any of those tables and it sees that you are going up a incline, it's going to want to hold that gear or haul ass to get to your set speed: as if accelerating. Which I believe is exactly what the acceleration tables do...

    Mat (Ovtune) told me that there is seperate maps for CC. When you activate and set CC, it uses a different map from the ones we are changing in Vftuner. He assured me that we will get access to these maps soon.

    those do nothing. I had 4 to 5 setup, but there was 0 effect. Or I was applying them to the wrong conditions.

    Perhaps... if you reach whatever threshold triggers those tables.

    My guess is, cruise control uses whatever shift tables you are using before you turn it on (and would probably trigger accel tables under the same torque request conditions as CC off).

    Wrong, according to Mat.
    Moose and me have tried multiple changes to "fix" CC. None worked. So I asked Mat and he told me that we do NOT have that access yet.

    Set your cruise just below an upshift. Bump the stalk one mph at a time... does it upshift at the same minimum as your primary tables or is it stock?

    My description:
    In Drive- aggressive but manageable throttle, higher but predictable shift points, power on demand at any speed and the same or better gas mileage.
    In ECT- more aggressive throttle than drive, a little higher shift points for towing and performance.
    In S Mode- same throttle and shifting as drive, no gear lock (works like stock S mode).

    This tune is great for daily driving, makes the truck feel “light” and “quick”, with smooth shifting and a manageable throttle.

    Ok what am I doing wrong?

    I turn on truck push button 2times, I plug in my laptop to my usb that’s connected to my ob2, then open vf tuner then click flash tool that opens. I click identify and nothing.
