Radio shack sells the PA speakers and any cb radio will power it. I was an idiot and payed 200 bucks for 2 dumbshits to install my pa and wiring for it to go out a year later, still cant figure out what went wrong, probably gonna have to rewire it myself

I 100% reccomend it. I put a 100watt, weatherproof outdoor speaker ($26 at Radioshack) and just used a stereo extension cable and plugged it straight into the back of my CB (obviously where the PA exit is) and it is loads of fun just screwing with people. I mounted mine on the frame pointing down, right behind the bumper and the only flaws, I should have put some heat shrink on the connections and hooked it up to an amp of some sort. Loads of fun though, be careful of the law, they tend to pay a little more attention to you and catch you in the act, if its legal near you then no worries.

I'm definately interested... before i get serious about it though, i just got a few questions, can you still use it as a CB radio as well without amplifying it through the loudspeaker?

haha I totally hear you, outside of boston, absolutely nothing. All I have to do is say, "hello!" to someone and they get mad (yea people are that snobby here), then you get my buddies screaming at kids on their bikes until they fall off, theres no stopping the fun! :D

So i bought my cb. i got a cobra 19 ultra III from walmart and i bouth the 50w-rms 100w-max all weather speaker from radio shack. now i need an antenna. i was thinking about the small cheap glass antennae, but something with a little more range would be nice. i dont wanna drill anything in my roof, and i dont want a huge redneck lookin antenna. possibly some bed mount ideas? so im looking for producs and pics of ideas of where to put the antenna
