    Thanks

I am piecing together my audio install. I plan to tackle that this fall/winter.

I have all of the stereo equipment from the X

    JL 500/1
    JL 300/4

    Components

I just need to build a box for the Dcab ( SubX one off ;)) and get a sub.

WO seat covers on the way too.

So its been a little while since I updated anything :)

I was in the process of installing my APR 2.85" S/C pulley and broke the press tool with about 1/4 of an inch left to press it on....

so Its stuck in the garage anyway, so I decided to mess on it some.

I never posted pics of this, but I did not like the WO console cover, so I had this done a little while back ( if you want something like this, shoot me a PM and we can get it done)

My WO seat covers are in, but they are a Xmas gift so I wont have them until January.

Since I was messing around, I decided to start my door panels using the extra neoprene I ordered

I only got one done :D

but while I had the panel off, I remembered that I had the Muth signal mirrors still from my X, so I put the passenger side one in.

Now when I put my stereo stuff in later this fall I can wire the signals up easily and not have to install them.

I plan to get the other 4 panels done this week at some point and put the drivers side mirror in.

Hopefully my new press tool will get here and I can finish the S/C install and remap the X1

Finished up the arm rests this week.

Also put some natural white LEDs in the map lights, dome light, license plate lights, and reverse lights from superbrightleds.com

I'll have to put some pics up later.

I also finished my 2.85" pulley install and remapped the X1. The truck pulls damn hard for being as big as it is.:D but I need to look into a VB upgrade for the future.

I went in to Gregory's Driveline shop in Va Beach Friday while I was down there.

They are going to build me a CV one piece for the truck and they gave me an estimate of 300 for it

I am sending them my stocker this week, so lets see how this goes.

Should have a once piece by the end of the week:D

    These came on Friday:)

Time for some in bed storage and tie down points.

I picked up a can of spray bedliner to coat them in.

This should be a fun little project

Your truck looks amazing! Did you do the lift install yourself?

Yeah we did the lift ( me and two others). it took 13 hours, but it wasnt all that hard. We used a shop on the weekend so we could use the lift, it made it ALOT less work. I could not imagine doing this on jackstands.

    Thanks for the compliment

Well it looks great. I plan on doing the Fabtech myself within the next month or so...I already have a pile of parts waiting for the install. Just curious, how involved was swapping the stock spindle for the larger fabtech spindle? Did you need a press?

no press, I would pick up new spindle seals. I tore one taking it all part, but had two new ones so I was good to go.

Also, I recommend ordering longerer stainless brakelines. it saves you from having to run all the brackets and bending the stock hard line. The GB going on now still is a good deal for nice lines. Thats what I did.

    good luck

I got my driveshaft back today.

I had Gregory's fleet driveline in Va Beach build it for me. Total cost was 385 after tax :) about 100 cheaper than TW.

They canibalized my factory driveshaft, added the CV, new tube and lengthened it. They did a killer job.

I took it out for a little spin tonight. The take off shutter is GONE!! :D

It is super smooth cruising and moderate acceleration. I do get some vibration when I hammer it. and I get a little vibe from 50-55 under about 75% accelleration. I took a look under the truck and you can see in the pic, that with the 3 degree shims, my pinion angle is a tad high on flat ground, and I am sure it wraps up when I punch it. I am going to order some 1 degree shims and swap them out and see if it goes away.

but for day to day driving it is golden ...

    worth every penny.

I have had one on my last two trucks ( 99 Xcab and the X) and it cures ALL axle wrap. plus it makes the rear a little more lively.
