Painting does seem to be the best way to restore these if they are in good shape overall, you can go red or even get the factory silver going I am certain.

But then you don't get to spend BIG bucks on an OEM NOS part!!

It really would. That sun can be killer in the summer but I usually wear hats, can still be annoying though.

Mudflaps! Ain’t no freaking way such a simple piece of black plastic should cost that much. $450ish for a new set?, now that’s some black plastic gold. On a somewhat related note, I’m missing a pass side front for all you Santas out there.

A 1st gen DCSB BedRug (not really OEM) are pretty much impossible to come by these days. I should have put it on eBay for $1000 instead of giving @Madjik_Man a friend deal :D

My contribution to this thread: 01-04 center console assemblies.

I've seen them sell for over $200.

Good thing I bought two back in 2009 when I first joined TW. :anonymous:

One for $50 the other for $40. Both in mint shape.

Any manual transmission swap parts - especially the ECUs are expensive.

FYI there is a plug and wires under the driver's seat that should plug right into those. I used it when I out powered camry seats in my taco.

I also used toyotapartsdeal.com when looking for OEM parts, some are cheaper than what you found on EBAY, like the frame for example is like $4,000. I have ordered from them a bunch.

I sent a whole front diff to the scrapper because I couldn't even give it away on here and I was going to deliver it to a wheeling event!!

    Nice scores indeed!!

I was super excited when I found my center console earlier this year for $125, here it is after I thoroughly cleaned and shined it up.

Definitely only shop on ebay as very last resort in many cases! I also like toyotapartsdeal.com as they seem to have some hard to find vintage parts listed. Gold, as they say! I have rolled the dice a couple times ordering discontinued parts there only to get my order cancelled however.

The rear cab carpet trim panel was one of these items I was so happy to find I scooped it up quick as I could, only to be informed days later this gold is no longer available.

I would love to wire up my power lumbar.. not so sure it plugs right in for my truck since I have a 2002 regular cab. Any idea which of these wires under the driver seat to use?

    20200217_134859.jpg

Here is a close up shot of the harness, hope you can clarify on how I can get this done!
    Under seat wires.jpg

    Power lumbar would be GOLD!!

It's that white plug by the grommet. It should plug right in as those were a factory option. If not you have power in those plugs, so cut and splice, I had to do that for the camry seats, but they work great!
