Check the spark plugs. Some have been known to be loose from the factory.

Swap out your IG2 main relay with the one to the left of it (A/F HTR relay)and yeah it’s a bitch to remove...see if the problem goes away.

I'm sorry but do y'all seriously not hear the noise in the first video? It literally sounds like a dolphin in the engine bay of my truck. Put on a pair of headphones and listen to the whole video.

Regarding the truck issue, has anyone bothered to look at the plugs?

I have tried 93 octane 0 percent ethanol fuel. No help. You would think Toyota would have checked basic shit. But no, their so called master technicians are rendered fucking Neanderthals beyond plugging in a scanner tool because of Toyota not wanting to pay to honor warranties.

I reviewed the previous thread in it’s entirety. Gummed up injectors doesn’t sound good.

Have you personally inspected the spark plugs?

A complete set is $100 I think and might be a weekend consideration. That and a couple of tanks of really high quality gas.

Someone here can probably recommend additives.

    Good luck man.

I'll try and pull the plugs this weekend. Something that happened today that forgot to mention: my coworker has a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport. We both got to work at about the same time. After about 45 minutes I had him start my truck and the problem happened. Both of us heard it and we both smelled gasoline outside the truck. I have never smelled it before but this might be because I am always inside the truck. I then went and started his truck; completely 100 percent normal. He said his has never sounded like mine.

Poke around the engine bay and look up under and see if you can find any fuel lines that may be leaking.
