If the camp next to us at Ocotillo ran theirs any later we would have choked them out in their sleep. I call furthest spot away from any generator.

Im with you on that one. Before i bought my toyhauler, i had them run the generator. Nothing ruins a great weekend like that guy with the old generator that you can hear all the way across the desert

How many of you are gonna go out to Sand Dam?

I have warm bag too. I should be good. I'm sure there are other out there with less. +10 bag should be good enough.

Bah I was in OW on TG weekend and it wasn't that bad.. Wind sucked but that was about it. See what you have to do is, stand by the fire and drink some beers for as long as you can and then go to sleep. That way the sun will be up early and start warming up the tent (unless you have a down bag in which case it doesn't matter).

Any one need a tent for the trip?

I bought this yesterday at the REI Used Gear sale, not sure why really other than it is brand new and it was only $40. I set it up everything is there and it all looks new (tag says it was set up but returned because the buyer found a lighter one). This is my 3rd tent and I really don't need that many. Here is the link, if you want it take it for the same $40 I paid:

I thought you were going to keep this one? It's nice. If I didn't have an extra tent I'd pick it up.
