Factory options are part of MSRP. The dealer options/add ons that should not be included would be overpriced things like nitrogen filled tires, etc. Here is an example of $2k worth of stuff they tried to add to my wife’s Accord. I wrote the actual cost in red. I started the negotiation with none of that included.

They DO HAVE an arrangement with Toyota. I followed the Costco process (i.e. entered the information on the Costco website, went to the Costco assigned dealer, etc.) The negotiated price was very competitive. What turned me off was the ridiculous amount of the dealer added costs. When I factored the added dealers cost, it basically wiped all the discounts negotiated by Costco. I took the Costco offer to another Toyota dealer that matched the offer + had lower dealer fees.

If I may ask what dealership in AZ is it? I am in CA and I got a Costco member price on a 2021 TRD Sport 2WD DC/LB a month ago. Didn't bite at first because I had just started shopping. As I doubled back this week for other quotes and options from this dealer they told me that they were no longer passing on Costco member pricing on the 2021 TRD Tacoma's. Apparently they don't feel the need at the present time. . .

On my AG 2020 Pro I got $1000 off MSRP. Not much but something.

My vin starts with a 5. I was told it was made in San Antonio. And it’s the trd off-road, but it’s a manual. Also I heard that production for all Tacomas is moving to baja and that the sequoia is going to be made in the San Antonio. I assumed they decided to “finish out” production in the us because of COVID related issues, as opposed to moving it all down there. I would have really liked to seen the diesel taco they proposed for this year, but imagine that’s also stopped due to COVID issues.

I found the pricing in my area to be rather competitive. My salesman told me he had several customers waiting for Tacomas that were either being shipped in or coming from other dealers. My Tacoma is coming from another dealer.

Seems like the TRO Pro is made in Texas, can't figure how the other trim packages are determined. Seems like most of my local dealers here in VA stock Tacomas built in Mexico. I'm not being political, but it I had my choice, I'd rather have it made here. My 2004 was built in Texas and is running strong with 282,000 on the clock.

You got yourself a deal. Was it on the lot or did it have to be brought in from another dealer?

Thanks. I felt like it was a great deal. Once I saw this thread I was like hell yeah. It was on the lot. I had another deal made over email, text, phone with another dealer on a silver SB for the same price. This was exactly what I wanted (Cement LB) and it popped up the Saturday I was going to get the other one. I guess the stars and moons aligned for me. Very happy with it.

I debated between the cement and the army green. I went with the latter.

What is the TRD Pro wheel and tire package? I didn't see that in the 'Build' section on the Toyota site. Just curious

Screenshot_20201120-195541_Chrome.jpg I misspoke, its an accessory add on. It was already built this way so I had no choice. They also couldn't tell me what kind of tires as it is a dealer trade.

Hello. I am looking to get a new 2021 TRD Sport 2WD next week. Is $35K before tax a good normal average price?

I am going to buy in Houston where I live. I got a quote and wonders if I can use at other dealership to match.

He said with tax and everything drive out is $37K. This is a 2WD. Normal sale price?
