I hear ya there. My thoughts were just using something that is readily available and easy to swap if something broke. I’ve never had hydro, but it makes more sense with the limited clearance. Obviously strength of it would be a good point too.

I really have to sit down (in front of the truck) and figure out the exact plan. I’d like to start in the spring so I’ll get to the plan this winter.

Solid points, I just wanted to hear your input. Lots of guys run them around here and seem to love them. Yeah, that’s a no from me, I’d like to be as low as possible lol.

Plastic and metal, ain’t that the truth.

I’m just a keyboard warrior but I would think a 3 link would give better clearance than a triangulated 4 because I would think links on a 4 would be right in the oil pan during compression.

I assume the next closest thing would be the diff on the passenger side but even with a link mount I think it would be easier to make up clearance there than the oil pan. A pan hard could then be pushed forward or back a bit to clear whatever needed. I’ll definitely want to see this along the way though.

Most definitely. 3 link rear and 3 link in front is what I assumed it would end up being. If there’s a way to do 4 link front, I’d rather do that.

Got some nice dents from a vine pulling my snorkel head off and rubbing a tree while sideways on the trail.

a pillar dents. Now it needs a cage!

Changed the stickers on my rear window, am I worthy enough to keep the overland status still? ooo and I ordered a skid plate for it. I have one but it’s like paper thin and literally beat the snot out of.

    Oh good. I was worried

Warfab! If the skid protects as well as the bumper does, I’ll be golden!

Almost. Probably gonna get everything back on after work tomorrow and then I'm golden. Gotta shop for some new thermostat housing bolts for my dad's truck. Can't find them anywhere so that's gonna be on hold again :annoyed:
