Shirts are weird for me, I can wear anything from a medium to an xtra large depending on who makes it and what kind of fit it is. Either it fits my shoulders but then its too short (which I hate) or it's long enough but then boxy/baggy AF which is also hate. I try to stick with whatever brand I know works because buying something new is a gamble

Pants I just make sure to get the right length then I usually buy them bigger in the waist than I know I need, I hate pants that are tight around the waist...just belt them on

Plus then I can continue to get fatter and not have my pants remind me until it gets really bad

One of mine has a slow leak but I think it's my rim, smashed a rock real good once a few years ago and I think it damaged it slightly. Usually loses a few psi every couple weeks so I have to top that one off once a month or so

Meh, honestly up until this year I was wheeling so much nearly every weekend that it didn't matter because I was always airing down/airing up anyway. Only really started to notice it the last several months

They can have their $100k poverty line.

Youre living the high life with that kind of money in my area.

You can live pretty darn well on 100k here if you're single.

But unlike in the rest of the country you aren't gonna support a family with a 100k household income in urban CA, not while saving anything at least

To be fair I think the average LA County poverty line is lower, like around 80k

    4 run, 2 don't
    Very true.

There are few areas like the Bay Area that require you to make 225k a year to make a comfortable living whereas a lot of other areas can do very well with 100k a year.

Yeah CA really is a place where most people need a combined household income to get by with a family, unless you're up in the 200k+ salary range

Have to start paying a babysitter bill this month, that's another 800 bucks I did not want to spend lol.

Now I know why parents love it when their kids start going to public school

'data scientist'. essentially a hybrid between a developer and a statistician. do a lot of big data, machine learning, optimization like things. I used to work at tesla and wrote the routing algorithm behind https://www.tesla.com/trips.

Surprising. You would think research triangle would produce more tech jobs in the area.
