This is my first tuner. Never touched this stuff before. I have everything installed and registered and got my download from OVT. I don't suppose there is a description file for all these different files. I mean I can make some pretty good guesses I think butdon't want to flash something that I will regret. My truck is stock with larger tires on it. 265/75/16. What is safe to use?

Were you trying to download it via chrome? If so, when you try to download it and it gets immediately blocked you hold Ctrl + j and allow the download that way. Would be a good way to make sure your Tactrix isn't toast. But if you don't want to use that computer then no point in tying your key to it. I think you can check if it's working without having to register the software to the computer, someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

    This is my surface tablet.

I do not have my cable attached

I still think you have a driver install issue

When the device is connected for the first time doesn't it configure for the computer? May not show up, even with drivers installed, until it can communicate with the computer and complete setup? I don't think it can hurt to try an adapter made for data.

If you have the drivers installed, it won’t show up in that box until you’ve connected it. If they are installed but it hasn’t been able to connect, that would explain it. It wouldn’t surprise me if that adapter only has pass through for power but not data

Actually, when the Tactrix is plugged in, you should hear the windows connect sound, even without drivers. Windows should still know a device was plugged in, and reflect as such in device manager as an unknown device. I think if there's no data communication then no sound will occur and no unknown devices listed in DM.

Yeah. You definitely have the drivers installed, and now TechStream. I really think you will be good to go with that USB hub adapter.

    Nice talking with you!

Awesome. I’ll have to flash that one in the morning.

Does that require the ECT button to be pushed..? I know for moose’s Mild n Wild it would...

Nope, I have 04B81 and flashed Premium Thx, never use ECT because I don't feel the need for it anymore. In my 2017 I used to use ECT all the time, just to give perspective on how different the tune is.

Going back to the clank on deccel.
I went and updated acceleration downshift 2-3 tables. Raised first 2 cell by 3.
I did not have time to hook TS up, but I saw downshift 3-2-1 flickering on my Fusion now. Need to verify with TS though .
