They're off Amazon and were by a company called Water Carbon. They have all sorts of different versions but mine are the basic high low versions.

I tapped off the battery, running immediately to a 20A fuse then from the fuse to a relay. The relay output feeds the seat heaters. The relay is controlled by the accessory fuse from the inside fuse block. I used a fuse tap and fused at 3A to control the relay.

My wiring is all in loom and ran through a hole I'd drilled just below and left of where the clutch cylinder would be. I put a grommet in and also have some duct seal. It's in a pretty protected location in the engine bay so there's no worry unless you get in DEEP water.

Once inside, wiring runs along the outside edge of the cab under the door sill trim piece. All your air bag and seatbelt switch wiring runs through there and there's a nice channel to follow. Ground is picked up from a screw at the kick panel (it's actually the screw that holds the clip for the kick panel).

The other side mirrors the drivers side, but I ran a wire in loom across to that location and did the same thing.

Like I'd said in my original post, the high low switch is just forward of the lumbar support and easy to reach. All wiring is contained to the seat and you only need to bring a positive and negative to the seat then.

The key thing is to fuse everything and tap into something that doesn't really screw you over if the fuse blows or you mess up. Even though the fuse tap isn't in the accessory circuit after the accessory fuse, its a lot better to pick something less critical like the accessory circuit instead of something like the ECM or brake lights.

These carbon filament heaters are similar to factory. Between my brother and I, we've put them in 5 or 6 vehicles with no failures.

I will say this, the Tacoma seats were the worst to get apart.

Received my rear Bilstein shocks. Figured it was time (103k on what I assume to be original shocks. I know I’ve put 47k on em anyways). Also hoping to pick up some used OEM 4 leaf packs tomorrow to swap out my 3-leaf ones. Should pick the back end up some! Hope I feel and see a difference! I hate low trucks so I feel like picking the back up an inch couldn’t hurt. Hoping for an inch lift out of em anyways. Then the plan is to see where they sit before adding lift to the front or more lift to the rear.

All bought so far. I’ll have to paint the door speaker trim and gauge cluster trim.

Looking good! What seat covers do you have? They’re also on my to-do list.

This looks awesome! Always been a fan of bronze wheels. You should share in the AC thread.

Thanks, everything is painted. Are those new base model bezels/trim or used?

Coverking Neosupreme, love them. Super durable and easy to clean.

Doing my tundra brake upgrade today. Not happy with the TRD sticker I got from Etsy, but it's only a caliper and ain't nobody looking that close at it.

Installed a Ram Mount 5" track under the AC controls. Combine that with a 1" Track Ball with the t-bolt, the Ram magnetic base, and a short double socket, and my cell phone is now safe and secure. Hoping to have room to mount a tablet too at some point.

All the parts shown in the last pic are new OEM.
Thanks, I’ll let the wife know for Xmas ideas.

All new OEM parts. Everything you need is in this thread.

You bring up a good point. LEDs typically ice over in winter making the light worthless. I've had this happen on a rigid SR20 and BD squadrons. I do not have enough time with the DD lights to comment.

The MAX runs hotter and there is another thread from a member with a FLIR reading on it. Would it be enough keeping ice from forming? I will test it again when going ice climbing later this winter.

Changed the plugs 120k miles later....

Evidently the PO never did, still had the Denso/NGK mixture.
