My wife is from just north of New York City, we meet in NH, got married in NH, next day stopped at LLbean for her winter coat and then lived in Caribou next 4 years or so. Long ass honeymoon, Mainer training?

Unless your dog is like mine. He is not food motivated. To be fair we've always just left the food out and he's grazed at it like a cat. We can put down scraps of steak and he'll just walk away.

Yeah, it took awhile, but I have a feeling it was the dealership dragging their feet, rather than corporate Toyota getting back to them.

Supposedly Toyota is going to get back to them (the dealership). I'm just hoping the longer wait time will be in my favor.

Hopefully it does work out in your favor (I think it will!). Having a new frame is great, you get to start from scratch with no rust!

Great to hear all the responses guys (about the LTC)

at the end of the day, I got a Class A “License to Carry” up to a “Large Capacity” firearm. With the obvious restriction of only to and from target / Hunting purposes.

it just pisses me off that it is restricted to that and not unrestricted. I’ve dug around online and some guys from Reddit forums say Quincy (City I live in) says the PD gives unrestricted once the user is atleast 25 years of age. (I’m 24. 25 in 10 months)
If that’s the case I’ll just have to wait.

but, I’ll call the department Monday and see exactly why I was denied of a unrestricted carry. And what exactly they look for to feel comfortable issuing out a unrestricted.
My GF got hers a week ago and it was the same restriction. I kinda can see that because she’s younger with little experience in dealing with firearms. Maybe they are looking for experienced people. Probably not though because if they looked at my application carefully, they would see that I’m a infantry marine corps vet.

disclaimer: I hate pulling the “I’m a vet card” but I thought in this situation it would help my case significantly ... apparently not.

well I hope to call the place and not come off as a “Karen” and seek guidance on what I can do to turn this restriction over. We will see

Yeah I’m pissed at that. But at the same time I’m getting mixed input. On some other forums online, applicants are saying that in their city or county in MA, the reason of all lawful purposes are an instant rejection because the chief wants to hear the exact reasons why his applicants should conceal carry out and about in his county/city. Complete BS but I guess it’s no unheard of. The course I went to said “because it’s my 2A rights” is also a similar NO GO. Because that’s just a “lazy” and a Cliche reason That the chief sees as a Lazy reason in the applicants chance to reason

Do you think that giving a reason such as I don’t like or am scared of people would be a better reason than using 2nd amendment type of reason? It was a sarcastic response, but as I think about it, I would consider this a real reason.

That could be a legitimate response if it’s taken further in detail. Like “I commute by foot through a bad area of town / city and where crime is statistically higher... so on and so forth”

Ford made swapping the headlight bulbs a damn project. Took me an hour to swap the bulbs out. Plus the dealership added a plow package and left ZERO slack on the wiring they tapped into for the plow lights.

Definitely a bonus, so sorry man.

I did recently look into it with GOAL and was told any OUI since 1994 in this state would be a DQ, and it wouldn't matter if I sealed my record b/c they look at sealed stuff automatically for a firearms license.

The 6.2 was terrible. It's tighter on the 6.7 (if you can believe that), but it's easier to take some things off of the 6.7 like the passenger side battery to get at the back of the bulbs. I can swap the bulbs on mine without removing the grille and lights, but I have to take some things out of the engine bay to pull it off. How are the new lights or did you just make the swap today and not have them out at night yet?

Haven't had a chance to try them out yet. Hard to tell during the day, but the new bulbs do appear brighter. I went with the Philips +100%. My dad said he might not keep the truck long enough to justify spending the cash for the LED upgrades.

Doesn't like the truck? If he wants to trade, now's the time. Used pricing is crazy high right now.

He likes it. But he's thinking of moving to Hawaii, so he won't need 4wd and it's too expensive to bring it there. His wife works for Ford he gets good deals on the vehicles.
