Looking at a 2018 TRD Off Road, want to verify it's a TRD.

FWIW - My '06 Tacoma TRD Off Road also has "SR5" on the tailgate.

 

And the original 1st gen Off Road had SR5 on the door pillar

 

I received the truck on Friday, very clean. I'd almost say perfect condition. Only two issues so far.

1) Only one key. Sucks having to buy another one but oh well.

2) The leather interior isn't leather. It has very nice Clazzio vinyl seat covers, but not leather. I contacted the dealership and they apologized and told me to get quotes locally for leather. I got a quote for katzkins leather as well as adding heat. They agreed and said they will send me a check as soon as everything clears with the purchase. A local shop quoted me $1,720. So, I'd have to say the dealership is taking pretty good care of me.

 

That's good that they're taking care of you. For a while here, just about every 2015 Tacoma I looked at was being listed and priced as a TRD PRO because the carfax vin decoder was messed up, I talked to just about every dealer in the area and most of them just couldn't believe that the trucks they were listing weren't TRD PROs. The thing that gets me is that people were still buying them!
