Does this mod allow you to turn the fog lights on or off at anytime by pushing your fog light button? Or does it just make it so the fog lights are always on?

Allows you to turn them on/off at any time regardless of light switch setting, or high/low beams

so is it just me or does this mod work "ALL THE TIME" not only when the key is turned on? I would like these to go off when i turn off the truck.

They just turn on/off with the ignition. You can control them on/off when the ignition is turned on.

Maybe post a pic showing what you tapped into for the power. if you went to the ignition relay i'd be surprised the key doesn't shut it off. OP mentions several alternatives based on your setup and i'm wondering which approach you used?

Take a pic of what you did... sounds like you hooked things up wrong.

Wait, you guys can't turn on your headlights when the truck is off and the key is out just by turning the knob off and on?

Whatever I did also turned in the headlights when the fog lights were turned on and the stalk was in driving light mode

Headlight auto shut off with ignition but you can turn them back on by going off then back on with the switch.

What year is your truck? Post some pics of what you did.

Wiggle them slightly while pulling straight up. I assume you are in the main box under the hood.
