I'm pretty excited. Was more excited when I forgot about it and realized I had ordered, still pretty excited.

    Did the ship move?

No one knows... but for the low low price of $116... you can be our insider.

Maybe you can parlay that subscription into a life of pirating on the open seas :quickdraw:

    Hahahaha!

On the free side, we won't see an update until it nears port on the 23rd.

    I vote for Captain

Progress is updated by AIS, a land based system. I’m monitoring THE vessel with the “vessel finder” app. Hope to see some update by this Sunday. The expected arrival date is based on an average speed of 22 knots from it’s last known position on Nov 12. If I see it getting anywhere near Long Beach CA I’ll let you know. :D :bananadance:

If all is going well that ship is about 2200 miles from it’s destination of Long Beach CA.

Nice! 22kn? They must be in a current?

I could have used the comfort of live monitoring and better vessel schedules earlier this year when our company had some crates floating around.

Keep a weathered eye on the digital horizon, matey!

Do you happen to see what port is after LB? I'm trying to figure out if they will go land or to Portland by sea.

So far I’ve only seen where it’s been, a few Chineses ports before hitting the open sea. I’ll see if I can find out where it’s headed after LB.

Thanks! No worries. We all should be able to see that once it docks.

I tried to find the schedule on the ship owner's website, but had no luck.

Either way, no big deal other than curiosity.

Vessel tracking usually updates pretty accurately once the ship gets in sight of land, but before then it's radio silence. I've been able to follow a ship in to port in NJ and see where it docked which was pretty cool.

I wonder if the container has to sit for a week or so before the contents can be handled?

Twice a century the Tacoma grab handle gods reach down and show us just how small we really are. When that ship hits Long Beach it’ll be the biggest wet dream the KTJO fanboys have ever seen. And I will be there.

I'm one of the people who ordered one recently, but not a pre order. So looks like about 500 people are waiting for the handle. Anyone remember how many she is having built? and numbers of those, for example, maybe 500 black and 500 tan, or whatever the numbers are?
