The wheels that came with my 08 TRD Sport was showing some wear from road salt during our wonderful Canadian winters. They've only seen two winters and the finish was starting to bubble ever so little. I showed the wheels to the dealer, and they ordered me new ones under warranty. I picked them up today. :yay:Yeah! These new wheels will never see winter because I got new snow tires on steel rims.

Glad they took responsibility and got them replaced.

However, people have had the clear coat bubbling problem down south too (no road salt). It's a common problem on those wheels.

I had the same 'bubbling' on 3 of my wheels. Dealer replaced them under warrantee.

I must thank TW. I would have never thought of trying to get my wheels replaced under warranty until I read that somebody had his replaced under warranty.

    Not going to brag.
What warranty was this done under? The 3 year 36,000? An extended warranty? 60,000 power train?

My wheels are bubbling badly, but I'm at 50,000 and 4 years. I do have the premium extended warranty so I'm wondering if my rims are covered.

Mine were replaced under the 3/36.

You'll have to look at the details in your warrantee paperwork.
