Yes, I was furious. But We think it's a family that just moved to the street. Luckily my landlord had cameras and was able to record the Penske truck. So hopefully the police will be able to get evidence. But I don't think I would help much, will it?

Nothing like a solid welcome to your neighbors than bashing their car in and driving off.

That sucks but at least there is a little more to the story with the neighbor witness. Hopefully police can track it down and find the party responsible to at least alleviate that worry from you.

Insurance will get it all worked out though. That’s why we buy insurance, hand it to them and let them figure it out and make you whole one way or the other.

I would say if there is no frame damage or bags deployed, the insurance company will fix it. Write off on a TRD Pro would be quite high.

I’d say it’s fixable. An adjuster would know better for sure. Doubt there’s any frame damage and if not they’ll fix it.

If it wasn’t factory applied and you have the stock parts you can remove it. They generally don’t price the custom stuff unless it’s covered and paid accordingly. I had it happen to my car prior to the Tacoma and removed all my goodies beforehand

I've seen waaaaaay worse that gets fixed.

When I was traveling a lot for work I bought the most reliable shitbox I could find because of stuff like this.

Depends if the frame is bent. I deal with insurance work all the time with collision repair I’ve seen far worse get fixed up. Most of the front end parts can be unbolted and replaced so long the frame rail and strut mounts are straight.
