I just bought a pair of trd headlights that Came off a 2019 trd model with the led drl. I have a 2016 sr5 and I know that the wiring is different. I don’t want to tap into the wiring. Am wondering if anyone sells a plug n play harness that will allow me to run the led drl without the turn single lights being on. Thanks!

@Puppypunter may have useful information on this. He may already have posted it somewhere.

It’s doable, but not as easy as you might be hoping. Let me ask something first: How exactly do you want the new headlights to act? When you turn the stalk switch on the DRL, you want the DRL to light up white, and when you turn on the turn signal, you want that bulb to flash amber? Are you okay if the DRL turns off when the turn signal is on? Also, are you good if the DRL dims when you turn on the parking light?

OK, then the best bet is to tap into the rear turn signal. @kmorgan3 might be some help here too. Are you comfortable wiring stuff? What about crimping?

Am decent. I know some people on here have made or sell plug n play harnesses. I was hoping to maybe buy one. I don’t really want to tap into any wires unless it’s my final option

I’ve tried contacting him. Does anyone know if he’s still active on here?

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
Or turn OFF on your head unit the DRL function to avoid tapping the rear turn signals...

That function isn’t available on the SR head unit. Might be on the SR5.
