First time finding it in the wild. My local store told me back in the spring he would save me a bottle. Show up the week before thanksgiving.

Been so busy hunting since September that I haven’t stopped in. I stoped in today and low and behold he kept to his word! Also had me a bottle of Taylor and my blantons. Score!

Actually coming in your way to see my in laws this weekend for the holiday. Might just have to open it and see what the hype is all about. I’ve always been happy with the standard buffalo trace haha

How is the Bowman stuff? It’s made literally down the road from me, but I’ve never tried it.

Prolly my favorite right now. It’s actually mash-bill #1 made by buffalo trace. It then gets shipped to bowmans and they triple copper distill it and age it.

Hands down one of my favorites and super underrated.

    Pretty much what @Bowhuntercoop said.
I’ve only had the single barrel, but picked up the small batch a few weeks ago to try.
You can tell where the SiB is similar to Blantons, but I like it more. It’s at a higher proof and you can taste it.
Maybe a month and a half or so ago, I brought of this, among other things to work, and a handful of us finished this and it seemed to be the overwhelming favorite for everyone

Just picked these up at a recommended store. I will say, they have high end options. Won’t find any Jack, Jim, Evan or fireball.

I had a glass of the Kirkland small batch bourbon... Certainly a good value and its a decent sipper, well worth having in your collection..... that sad I prefer Larceny which i believe is wheated and is I think about the same price... Just my 2 cents worth.... ;)

A long time ago I bought a bottle of Old Forrester Statesman but never got around to opening it. Last night I figured it was time and went to look for it. I only have 1 cabinet for my liquor, although I have a few bottles in my office because I'm out of room in the main cabinet.
    :anonymous:

I can't find the bottle. I know I never cracked it, but after looking at every bottle I have, it's nowhere to be found. It's baffling. I blame our cats.

Have you ever lost/misplaced a bottle?

Does a bottle ever just "disappear"??? Maybe but I am skeptical....
