i have noticed lately that when backing out of a parking spot and turning the wheel clockwise there is a loud popping noise that frequently happens. sounds like it is coming from the drivers side suspension. occasionally i notice it when the front left tire goes over the curb when pulling into the driveway. what could be causing this? it has happened in the past nad i havent worried about it but now it is more frequent. i have a '01 prerunner with a 3' lift and 32" tires, any ideas?

Im surprised to see there are no responses to this. I have the same problem with my 2010 DC 4x4. Any help would be appreciated.

with out a doubt its your ball joints, that happened to me with my old s10. It was a mix of my bad steering box and the ball joints. Get that isht fixed. My wheel ended up falling off on me.

    "ass grease"

No, it's just a replacement. It's really up to you as far as replacing them goes.

i would say that if its not your sway bar or your ball joints, it could possibly be your cv starting to wear out.

^^ This applies to 4wd only. In this case, he's got a prerunner. Good idea though.
