Favorite Whiskey?

Been a crazy weekend... put an offer in for another house Saturday morning. Monday still seems so far away. Y'all wish me luck! All goes well and I won't be able to be a member of the Gulf Coast Spirits Society any longer, so I'd better drink this up while I can.

 

Trying a blend recommended by someone in my local whiskey club. Will let them get to know each other for a couple days, then give it a try. I really like both. I feel that b520 is a bit hot and TB needs could benefit from a bit of heat.

 

I could get behind this blend. Let us know what you think! I'd try it, but no luck yet in procuring a TB.

 

I started an infinity bottle in April. I added 1.5oz of every bottle I had on hand and of each bottle I've bought since. It's a pretty disoriented mish-mash, but I just like the idea of having a 'history' of all of my whiskey in one bottle.

sipped my infinity bottle last night, got the craziest bubble gum note

 

I've only had one pour from mine so far. It's been a while, but I remember the Lagavulin being very prominent over everything else.
I will have to sample it again and report back.

 

Have any of y’all had Black Ridge bourbon?

A coworker is up in Kentucky and picked up a bottle since the store said it was one of their best selling bourbons.

117 proof sub $50, solid pour, pretty much your classic bourbon at barrel proof. Minimal burny

I tired the last couple pours with ice and really enjoyed it, good zing with dinner

 

Picked up a bottle of Elijah Craig Barrel Strength a while back. Even at 63% ABV, it bites less than almost any 80-proof I've ever tried (not just the "cheap" stuff).

 

Wow I love this stuff.

It’s very good. Almost dessert like to me. I picked up a bottle after trying @4x4runner2002 and will be opening it once I kill some more bottles
