Truck is a gasoholic and I have aftermarket suspension rated for the malls!

 

SC gas isn’t that much cheaper. Maybe $0.10/gal at best. Maybe when gas goes to $4/gal next year there might be more of a delta.

 

Any of you guys invest in stocks and that kind of stuff?

 

Several of my friends are talking about it. Something about bitcoin on the rise again and the world trying to restart after ending.

I hit mandatory retirement in 22 years. Trying to get everything right and start investing before it’s too late.

 

I just made a quick 200% profit on a Corsair options contract the other day. I'm pretty deep in. If I put all my money in stocks into tesla back in march I could've cashed out over 750k but who knew

Unless you really know what you're doing, only invest on your own what you are willing to lose. A Roth IRA has many advantages and you can shop around for managed accounts where they move you money around for you. Not just stick it in a fund and leave it there. I self manage only 20% of my IRA and so far I have made more dollar wise than they have with the other 80. I also have higher risk, but risk management is very key also. You really have to stay on top of everything.

Corsair has been a good one. Jumia has been, too. And there are plays on SPY about everyday. Catch it on the way up and hit the puts on the way down.

I have a lot of money in pharmaceutical due to dividends but I think I'm going to pull out several K and put them into SPY for long term, I don't see that going back down too much unless there's another crash -which if there is that's the time to buy more. Tesla is added to S&P starting January I believe.

 

In other news, my girlfriend really wanted to go camping this weekend and I told her it wasn't a good idea to go to horse pasture on the weekend and, I was right. Every camp spot taken haha

 

It may be a while before HPR has a decent spot to camp available with the sudden new interest in camping among COVID fleers. You may be better off looking into more remotely accessible areas that people in a more capable vehicle than mom's station wagon can access.

Your Toyota Tacoma is a more capable vehicle.
