Some scouting today at the coast range - too wet and lazy to get out of the truck much.

Me and my best bud Charlie went to TSF yesterday for some quading. Loads of fun as always. I should put a step tracker on Charlie to see how many steps he gets in on a day like this

You guys have a favorite method for fixing dents? Got this shiner on my front bumper a couple weekends ago - was going to leave it until a new bumper but thinking of fixing. TIA

    DIY Fabricobbler.

Hair dryer to warm up the plastic.
Remove the pastic liners from the wheel well to gain access to the back of the bumper.
    Press dent out.
    Wash bumper.
    Buff scratches with rubbing compound.
    Wax.
    Polish.

Now you have to wash and wax the rest of the truck to match.

Nailed it. Did this on my old front bumper before going CBI and the rear bumper on my buddy's GX... minus the washing and waxing step. Hair dryer works great tho!

Sweet, hairdryer it is! Never done it before so good to hear some real world usage

The washing and waxing though...soon lol.

Damn, didn't think of the hair dryer. That's a good one, guys. I should have thought of that myself.... since I had to use a "heat gun" to thaw out my frozen door latches when I owned an F150!

And when I say "heat gun" I mean my wife's hair dryer!

11.41 miles in 2 hours and 40 mins but we stopped a couple times to let the dog and kid out to play in the snow.

We went out to TSF yesterday and managed to run Bates Road and University Firepower before it started raining and then Cedar Tree in the rain. Conditions were perfect before the rain and then got alittle sloppy on Cedar Tree.

Was stoaked to make it through Cedar tree not because it’s hard but last spring when we ran it we had to bail because a large boulder had rolled into the trail and every time I tried to take the rally route around I’d slide sideways into it, wasn’t trying to crunch my door to get through a trail I’ve done dozens of times so we turned around. The boulder is gone now though and the trail back to normal (I’m sure it has been for awhile with summer maintenance but it was my first time on it since like March)

With my worn out tires had to use my locker a lot more than usual so good thing new ones go on today!

I didn’t take any pics but here’s a few I stole from my buddy.
