It is worth considering! Went off roading again yesterday on a snow run and it was a huge improvement over factory. I have close to 6k on them.

Depending on your truck it can look good. Definitely worth a look too.
Just a little green peek :spy:

Thanks for the data point - looks like I was right in thinking I’d have to do an AAL if I got the performance pack. Wish they had a middle option...

Hey guys, trying to see if anyone else had issues with installing rear shocks. they seem to be too fat the shock itself gets held up on the knuckle. images below were the best visual i could show it pushed the bolt holes too far forwards IMG_2290.jpg IMG_2291.jpg

@stuffedtaco gotta turn them 180 to fit. I think the stickers were put on the wrong side. Don’t know why but that’s what I did for mine.
I’m pretty sure they’re the same part numbers so not difference for sides. I think I tried both and got the same results, didn’t fit with stickers facing out.

Im not sure why that worked for me, the looked identical both ways but something must be just slightly off center that it worked.

THere is an offset in the mount because of its bigger diameter than stock, try flip the other side

Started the install for the rear leafs.. hitting some roadblocks with aligning the center pin to the axle.

I can get 2 of the 3 parts to align.. Whether it be the front and rear bushings bolted through, but not aligned to the center pin, or the front and center pin lined up, but not able to pull the leaf down enough to get the rear bolt through.

Reckon I’ll attempt to solve this problem with ratchet straps and more rum!

I know that feeling. I ended up having to drop that side of the axle much more than I felt comfortable with. Eventually got the front and center pin in then just slowly at the rear.... and the prybar.
Good luck and keep an eye on the brake line while lowering the axle. Don’t wanna pop that while trying to get the leafs in.

Copy that, thanks for the words of caution/wisdom @Devir7. Ended up using the bottle jack to push the rear part of the spring down and that did what I needed it to. Cheers!

Not sure if anyone else has had issues yet but the powder coat on the leaf springs has already worn off and started to rust between the leafs. Only 6 months old. Something to look out for.A3DBFE6C-811D-4627-954C-9EEC2FF06EB2.jpg

Not something I’d really expect after 6 months. Might want to give them a call or take a wire brush, knock anything you can off, spray with a rust inhibitor the coat them with Fluid Film or Woolwax.
I did my frame with the black Wool wax, including the leafs so i won’t be able to tell anything till it’s all cleaned off in spring.
Either way you go, good luck.

That’s a bummer! And you’re not in a salt environment either... I wasn’t particularly impressed with the level of coating on the springs. When I took apart the bundle I could see they had given each leaf a coat of primer, but they weren’t individually coated all the way around.

Something else.. in your photo, that E-brake line (I think its the e-brake), it doesn’t rub against that bolt end does it? I haven’t returned my axle to the upright position yet, but as it sits now, looks like it could be an issue. Do the springs travel up and down any, where maybe it could rub while you’re bouncing?
