This thing has a 22RE, kinda wish it had the 3.slow cause it would be an easy 5VZ swap. But there's nothing bolt in swap capable in a 22RE truck :/ And of course this little shit has a bad HG. We just ordered another gasket and are gonna tear it down and get er done. It drives well enough. I'm gonna set up his rear and front gears myself so he can have 33s and 4.88s. That should let him keep up on the highway without too much issue.

Ah, the grill threw me off on that. Assumed it was original still.

It hit a deer pretty bad, so we tore a 4runner apart at a yard for some front end bits, haven't had time to weld in the new core support yet. I'd really like to put a 5M-GTE in, cause we're an I6 crew haha. But it'll probably keep the little 4 pooper, it's a good engine and this one was a drop in from LCE about 70k ago. But the guy he got it from drove it without coolant and it popped the HG :(

It just occurred to me that I didn't request Friday off, I always forget to do that...Thanksgiving being on Thursdays throws me off even though it's like that every year. I'll just be the one dude that comes into work on Friday again

I guess, although faking illness during cv19 probably isn't a good idea lol. Hell even getting sick with anything isn't a good idea, they'll force quarantine on me just to be safe and you don't get paid to sit at home during quarantine

My daughter tested this out, now she's 100% virtual.

    I feel played.

That’s been my thought all fall.

So I just straight up tell them I’m not coming in, no reasons given.

Yeah it's times like this year that I really wish my job could be done 100% from home, my dad gets to finish out his last year before retirement 100% virtual now because of covid.

Company I work for has a policy that if you don't come in the day before or after a paid holiday, then you don't get paid for the paid holiday (unless it was requested off at least 2 weeks ahead of time). The exception of course is if you are sick and get the day off approved for that, but I don't want to play that card with the pandemic and all

Call in sick and go get tested and Friday, you’ll be good to go Monday.

If you come back negative anyway.

Mine does too, but I'd rather see my family for a couple days and eat the pay.
