Sure! Definitely need a better way to stay awake though haha. That drive on I-80 through the Nevada wilderness at night is on par with watching paint dry.

I'll be going to pick up my trans and t-case in the morning. Found some ammo in the closet that I forgot about, sold it super fast so looks like im paying $100 for my combo.

I was reading that these dont have magnetic plugs though, but there are magnets possibly in the pan. If the guy is telling the truth and it only has 68k on it, then im not worried.

I mean he took the 3rz from it and put it in his truck.

So i'll crack the drain plug a little and give the fluid the nose test. I cant imagine it will be bad. I'll probably still take it and do a full rebuild if it is. This project wont be happening overnite.

I highly doubt it’s bad at 68k. Just run it till it doesn’t work anymore, then find another one. I wouldn’t bother having it rebuilt.

 

Yea but these a340f's and RZ bellhousings seem to be as rare as hens teeth in my area.
I can't imagine how long its going to take to find the factory 4:56 front diff.

 

I threw my A340E bellhousing in the trash lol
