Def can work and not bad but for me too big for ditch lights. even the smaller ones light up the night so not needed as much. I likely will grab a couple and mount in the front on top of the bumper. I have been considering going with LP6's or similar instead of a light bar uptop.

Yeah, when it comes down to it the little pods do just fine. I had a 50" light bar and 2 ditch light pods on my old jeep and it was MORE than enough light, I just thought the round guys would look cool. I can't use them in town, only when off-roading, camping or at the farm so I was trying to sneak in a little bit of extra cool factor for when they're off. But alas, function>form so I guess I'll have to re-evaluate.

have you considered something like the Baja sport R's instead of the bigger LP6 or similar? I run Baja sport which is Square and the sport R which is round in my bumper ones on mine but they make a rounder version if it's mainly the look you're after without going with the big boys. You would save a ton of money too as the LP6 are BANK. I did not catch if you were running or wanting or a knock off.

I'll definitely look into those. In all reality, I'll likely opt for the knockoff. Bigger, more important stuff I would definitely spend the money on but I don't off-road THAT hard - just enough to get me to some cool backcountry camp sites. I don't think I could justify spending thousands on lighting, especially when my cheapo lights held up fine and did more than enough when I had my jeep.

If you're really using them for "ditch lights" the square side shooters are gonna be hard to beat for throw and coverage.

yah makes sense. FYI though baja designs if you can get a good deal Is also doing $50 rebate on any pair so you can score a deal on a set of squadron sports but knock-offs work for the most part. I had cheaper cali raised ones initially before scoring a deal on bajas. I run Ebay specials for light bars.
