This talk of future mods is definitely not helping me or my pocketbook.
I need to upgrade my stills camera, and am looking at changing camera systems altogether. Which means a body and new lenses. That is gonna get pricy quick.
In order to get a new camera I need to upgrade my computer as well. Plus thinking about a drone maybe as well.

And I haven't even started on serious truck mods yet. I want some better tires for sure, then some armor, maybe some lights, newer camping gear......sigh

 

What camera ecosystem are you currently shooting with?

Also I have a dji mavic mini if you ever wanna play around with it. It's a ton of fun and a hella powerful camera system for <500.

 

Currently shooting Nikon DX. D7000 to be exact, which in digital cameras is ancient. Looking at moving to either Fuji or Sony. Sony is full frame (yea!) but the glass is pricy. Fuji is APS-C which is fine for what I shoot and the glass is more budget friendly. Decisions, decisions..

I have been looking at the Mavic Mini so I may take you up on that sometime.

Bummer, I have a ton of Canon gear. Been shooting the same trusty rusty 7D that has survived 10 years, 150k shutter actuations...4 continents, 3 peaks, freezing, underwater... I keep thinking about upgrading and it just doesn't break enough to justify it, haha.

 

Tires are a great place to start, and since your stock ones are almost worn out, its time to get tires! Plus with winter coming, and its a big safety thing.... you can even go up to 32 inch tires on stock suspension with no issues.

 

Ive been considering picking up the mini2. I’ve got a GoPro karma, but that thing is giant compared to what’s available now.. and flight time is only about 15 minutes.

I recently got a Sony A7RIII and I loooove it. It's such an incredible camera. The glass is SO expensive though. I am already hooked and have like 4-5 lenses after 2 months.

 

Is the glass more expensive than Canon L series glass? I have a handful of that with my trusty old 5D. Btw, keep the Mavic out of the lake! (Ask me how I know ).
