Keep the cargo/bed lights off and install a set of Meso puddle pods...no interference and plenty of light

extra ground didn’t work for me. (It made a difference but was not a fix). Running power through a completely different circuit AND different ground did. Brake light power is the only thing that’s on the OEM circuit. The ground and cargo power are on a new circuit.
Not saying that’s the only fix, but it’s the one that worked for me.

Also after research this a lot, there are two completely different frequencies that the key fob and receiver work at, after X amount of failures (or incomplete code sequences), they will change to the other frequency. So my guess is only one of these frequencies may be effected which is why some people have the problem and others don’t.

I should add. The above is for the BD lights, not the KC.

Thanks for the info. I ended up not installing it. It can sit. I'm just not in the mood to troubleshoot and I've been considering a topper lately. Maybe I'll change my mind down the road.

just an fyi for Virginia residents. I passed my safety inspection with this setup if anyone was worried. I did put rigid covers on for the big front light.

For those that are having cracking issues with the KC housing. Please look at inspiredlaserdesign on ebay. Shout out to @PapaRee for point this out. I was able to get him to make the center and screw hole cut out. Better replacement than the original. He has green, blue, purple, yellow, amber, grey and red.

No you will have to take off the protective film. What you see is how he sends them to you.

Ha! I already have them. I gave you the idea.
I was asking if you took off the protective film? Your pics make yours look cloudy. Look at my pic in the post right after yours.

These lenses are a lot stronger than the KC ones. I’m not worried at all about them cracking or leaking. My set still looks great!

tbh, not really. I only "know" based on what I've seen in this thread... it doesn't look too hard but then again electrical is something I get nervous about working on lol

I see you're in LA, I'm in the LA area too... maybe we can have a DIY party one of these days w/ someone that knows wtf they're doing
