Nice! Yeah some of the musicians can be really down to earth, cool people.

That's a good amount of shows to go to a year. I stopped going so much due to being so busy with shit.

At my age I never know when the bands I dig will stop touring, even before the current status of the world. I suspect quite a few won't want to risk it any longer as well.

So true... I think that is a high possibility that some bands will call it quits.

Most of the newer generation aren’t going to 3 day rick festivals. It’s all Bonnaroo (I have no chance of spelling that right), Coachella, SXSW, etc. those are bit festivals with a huge crowd (usually....obviously this year, whatever). If anything they’re growing while the others are shrinking. Just the culture shift. The younger generation doesn’t listen to as much metal and the older generation isn’t sleeping in a tent in the mud for 3 days.

The festivals are happening, just different music. Levitate pre 2020 was a growing festival right in Mass.

So who among you brines your Turkey? I've done it on and off for a few years now, and since we're not hosting this year I don't have to impress anybody but the GF so I'm thinking about mixing up the recipe a bit. I usually just use my standard brine (1/4 cup salt, 1 cup brown sugar, 8 cups of water) and then rinse and herbify the bird (rosemary, thyme, etc, the usual "poultry seasoning" stuff) before I bake it.
Anybody have anything different that they use? Deep frying is out of the question, FYI.

I'll be doing my first brine this year, actually.

You could try smoking it. I would smoke it if it was just me, but the inlaws aren't a fan.

Echoes is awesome. I'm actually listening to Meddle at work right now lol. And I'm 26. I've had these Floyd albums since 6th grade.
    The solo was too ordinary.

Walk is great, but soooo overplayed. The Great Southern Trend Kill is one of my absolute favorites.
I wish I could've seen Dime play. What a tragic and senseless loss :pout:

My GF brought home a turkey last night. Something had nicked the bag and it thawed a bit between her getting it and getting it home. That sumbitch leaked everywhere!

On a positive note, the dogs had their fill of licking up salty turkey brine blood!
