Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I honestly would love to learn how. I may in the end purchase it due to the fact that we will be forced to buy if you want 2.0 and update your ecu. Is there any videos online that can walk you through it?

i may just buy it aswell. honestly, my next truck is probably going to be taco #4 or a tundra, and i will be able to still use the software, and just get a new tune pack (from what it looks like)

seems like people are having good luck with vf.

 

Would you have to buy a whole new tune pack or just credits to unlock your existing tune pack for the new ECU?

 

not sure, but its got to be cheaper than starting all over

 

After I upgraded to vFtuner, they gave me a link to my ECU files and 4 credits. Not additional cost, just the upgrade cost... Which is like $79,-

 

Wow, selling tuning while you can't actually download the tunes and have to beg for them on a forum.... Niceeeeeee

 

He doesn't, and I don't even know and can't figure out why everyone who is purchasing keeps following our old instructions with flash manager instead of the vF Tuner instructions.

 

Is flash manager gone for good and the new process is to zendesk for the tune pack? Just making sure so me and @tonered know where to herd the cats

 

until our new flasher is released and flash manager is updated, no tunes can be downloaded from flash manager.

 

One of the easy things in FM that is not in vF are the Tactrix drivers. Could you put those in vF?

You can never expect somebody to be competent. Just ask OSHA, even they understand not everybody can be considered “competent”

 

Has anyone gotten this error before? I tried reinstalling but so far no luck.

 

You are missing the Visual C Runtime that is needed to run the program. I'm not sure which year corresponds to 14.0 but you'll need to seek out the appropriate Microsoft Visual C Runtime and install that.
