"Blind Spot Monitor Not Available"

The sensors need little wipers

 

Mine just stopped working but it’s the light in the switch going on and off. Anyone have any ideas?

 

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday with the BSM not available, the light in the switch was lit solid. Today I took a wet rag to the rear sensors even thought they seemed clean. After driving for about 5-10 minutes it started working.

 

Had the same problem with about 10k miles on my 2020. Tried washing up there in the bumper. Didn't do any good. Eventually took it to the dealer and they recalibrated the sensors.

 

What did it cost? Or I guess what would it have cost?

 

Not a clue. They told me what they did and I drove away. I don't remember the time they took. And of course it was just warranty work.

 

Happens to me a lot if I’m driving through snow/slush. Once it melts it goes back to working

 

I had to have mine recalibrated once on my 2018. The write up mentioned the master beam axis was misaligned. Maybe it was slightly off from the factory...

Worked great after that.
