Whyd they take the skid off to do an alignment?

 

id be mad if they tried taking mine off because its a bitch to put back on with it being bent lol

 

You can't take mine off, the bumper locks it in. Ask me how I know....

mine cant fully come off either since its bolted into the mid and tcase skid

 

Factory OR skid. The black sheet metal one.

 

Honestly, if the whole trip hadn't been for the sole purpose of a surprise marriage proposal, I would have invited everybody I know with a 4x4 to at least meet up lol

I paid for a lifetime alignment and they do a good job, so it's one less thing I have to mess with.

To get to the head of the cam bolt. It's not really possible to get to without removing it.


On an unrelated note because it's Friday, does anybody want to guess the story behind why this fuse failed? @Sear87, I'm sure you've never seen anything like this at work in a fuse panel or on a piece of equipment lol

 

Well, on mine you do. See the previous picture. The stock non-OR one is basically just a splash guard and comes up the side significantly.

 

I see that now.

 

Pretty sure I have the same skid, maybe I'm wrong. I used to even have it doubled up with the Sport Skid. They never dropped it when they've done the 4 or 5 alignments I've had done.
