I’ve got one on the commercial fishing boat I engineer on. It’s held up decently and I beat the living shit out of it..... only problem was the jaws kept falling out so we welded them in.

Can anybody post your Tube bender stands? I'm ready to fabricate my own. I need some ideas.

 

I made the one leg so short so I could fit under my work bench but if I were to do it over, I would have made those two legs equal in length, shorter than the other two, if that makes sense. Or just add a peg so I could drop on a weight plate to act as a counterweight. Right now I just rest my foot on it if there’s a long piece of tube hanging off the short end. It’s just 2” square .120 wall.

 

I like your portable folding work bench. I keep one handy as well when I need extra table space.


For your stand, you can easily get a smaller od square stock that slides in the end and secure it with a wing bolt. Weld a nut to the bottom side for easier use.

 

It works quite well.
