Has Anyone Customized the 2020 Limited Grille?

I wanted some ideas if anyone has done it. Thanks

 

i have an 18 limited and dura coated tungsten, its almost gunmetal color. matches my wheels very nic...

 

Cool, I was thinking about painting it a matte black to match the rest of the truck.

I have myself, sorta'. I replaced the OE grill on my 2019 SR5 with a 2020 SR grill, painted to color match the truck, with Raptor style grill lights, and a front camera. (The Limited grill is very similar.)

Oddly enough I saw this exact style truck in town yesterday!

 

It seems like most new owners really love the "raptor lights" even though the Tacoma is not oversized and required by DOT to have these lights...

 

I think a lot of people don't actually know the purpose of marker lights and think they're just for looks. Especially with a truck like the Raptor. It's a little more obvious with a heavy duty pickup

I have a 2019 SR, but bought a 2020 SR Grille for it. I haven't put it on yet, but I have made a set of brackets to mount 2-6" light bars in it.

 

Yes, I would also paint the chrome trim as well.

 

I wanted to change out the grille completely but, I’m scared to mess with front camera system.

While a SR grill might get you the color you want, it does NOT have the cutout for the Limited's factory front camera. The easiest solution is to paint your original grill.

Disassembly of your grill is easy. You'll need to do that to properly prepare and paint your grill.
