Might be on to something there - I wear Costa sunglasses, maybe the sunglasses cut the glare...

You can always turn an off road into a sport but much harder and much more expensive to turn a sport into an off road...just my .2

I was constantly regretting my decision to go with the Sport over the OR.

But 3 years later here I am and am glad I went with it. This is my daily driver, I’ve been off roading maybe twice a year with some trips through the snow throughout the years.

It handles well and just looks better with the color matched parts and hood scoop.

    To each his own!

I got the Sport and love it, I’ll prolly get an OR next time if my Sport ever dies. It’s got 165k on it and runs like new! Still love driving it!

Why is this even a thread? Buy what you want, don't worry about what someone else has bought. If you don't like what you have bought , get a different one.

WTF, why does it matter what you think of my truck????

Sport suspension > Off road suspension for me.

Would never use lockers or CC so it really came down to suspension and looks. I drive windy roads and highways. LSD is better in the snow also, in my opinion, especially the east coast snows where it’s part slush, part ice, part hard pack, part powder simultaneously under each wheel.

Yeah, it’d be nice to have locker and CC options, but it isn’t worth sacrificing the sport suspension which I enjoy 100% of the time.

I know. I’ll literally never use the locker or CC though. Sport stiffness and suspension I use, benefit from and enjoy daily. LSD is all I need in the snow. 4Low for hill descent in ice/snow. We good with that. Traction pad and straps in the back.

    Gonna add a winch/bumper soon.

Most I’ll flex is accidentally driving over a curb. Haha

The glare from my Sport's skewp'd hood does not bother me either. I get much more bothered by some of the headlights I see from on coming cars at night.

Yeah I can see a situation like that the skewp would be annoying. Personally for me I don't really notice it much for day to day driving. I have yet to take my Taco on any serious offroading. Saving cash for upgrades.:spending:

Ok, OVTune ... thought about it, but price had me back off. Does it really make that much of a difference to quantify it’s pricing? Also, how hard is it to install and how is the support for it?

ADM is pretty OK, regearing is huge, OVT is outfreakingstanding. Meek V6 to actual factual seat of the assets to the ground torque. I did the original OVT so I cannot speak to the new system, but it was quite easy and support grows every day. Price is steep, but worth every penny IMHO.
