    Im about to drop some change on a 5.5 Quart Le Creuset as my wifes Christmas present. I benefit from this as well :D

    we don't own fancy china or crystal stemware but I like to invest in the cooking tools. I might have to build a display shelf for this investment and build out a collection.... bye money....

    I added to my collection a week back or so.. I've got a Lodge that I've been using for a few years and my uncle's old camp cast iron that is about 50 years old.. Added a Smithey to the line up and have been impressed with it right out of the gate.. Reverse seared a ribeye for the first cook, corn bread, and green bean casserole.. It is one of my favorites to use!

    What are some hard things to cook in cast iron until it is well seasoned? What is the hardest thing to not have stick?

    Stuff that had a tendency to stick, I usually just over oil/grease until it's slick enough to not need a ton of grease/oil.
