I've never had the PNW grips before but they look good. I like the ODI Elite Pro grips.

I did own the stamp 2's and I gave them away when I sold my bike. I'm glad I did because on a whim I bought the Diety Black Kat's and they have been great and have a much lower profile. They also come with extra pins. The stamp 2's showed up missing pins.

Sounds like deity pedals are the way to go when I do. Since they aren’t an incredible need right now, I’m holding off. Going to try to work on my feet positioning and angles first

Good, because Deity pedals are like scalpels...

I think I’ve established I’m a Deity fanboi as well. Have a lot of respect for the way they came up in the industry and how they run their business. I only run Deity components. Skywire handlebars, T-Mac pedals, Knuckleduster grips, Speedtrap saddle, seat post clamp, valve stem caps...all of it. I’ve run the Supracush’s but like the feel of the Knuckleduster’s a lot more. I agree with @FreightTrain on the T-Macs. The best flat pedal I’ve ever ridden. Had some NukeProof Sam Hill signature pedals and thought it couldn’t get better than those. The T-Mac’s have a better platform, perfect concavity and fit my feet perfectly. I ran a Copperhead stem on my old bike, but also agree with @mr.trd that it’s a bit boring, and giant. Running the stock Bontrager one for now...damn Knockblock. Once I can get another adapter I’ll probably go back to the Copperhead, because Deity.

I will say, the Chromag BZA stem and handlebars are making it hard for me not to stray and do a little cheating on Deity

    Dearest 1up lovers,
How much would you pay for a set of 2 used 1up roof racks?

    I offered a guy $350, he countered with $375.

They aren’t much more brand new and I’m in no rush.

    signed,
    1up curious

    Condition and color?

If black and like new or with little use, I’d say $375 isn’t terrible for a local deal. If they're silver or condition is meh, pass.

Mounting hardware might be a factory to consider too. If what the seller has works for you, great. If you have to buy additional parts from 1up, my vote moves to possible pass.

Thanks. They are black and I’m going to assume they are in okay condition given he had them mounted to a Porsche but I could be totally wrong. Anything to look for besides rust?

Won’t rust. Buy them for a discount since a discount doesn’t happen any other way.

That’s what I have is two black roof racks then bought a two inch tandem rack. So I have both roof racks as well as hitch racks.

That’s the setup I’m shooting for. I have a dclb and I don’t want the limo effect with 4 bikes on the rear.

Let me specify. I only have two racks total. If I want to move racks to roof it’s two lock nuts to loosen and move one from hitch to roof.

As of now no plans on adding a 3rd or 4th rack.

I have the Deity compounds now I robbed off my old bike and they are great for a cheaper set of pedals, but really want the Black Kat's, but want turquoise so I have just held off deciding if I should go platinum on the smoke Yeti. Also have the turq Racepoint handlebars. But want to try carbon soon.

Look at the ratchet (teeth) portion of the swing arm that goes over the tires. It’s a replaceable part as the teeth become worn. If nothing else it’s a haggling point if any of them look to need replacing.

Its not actually attached to the arm, but rather the tray itself. Bad description on my end.

This is the part I’m referencing

We just had one pop up locally for 175, so 2x is 350. That said, I almost never see them come up second hand, so the extra 25 to save xxx off retail is prob worth it to me.

The trays wont rust, but the hardware can. Also, check the ratchet teeth as they wear down over time.

Most of 1Up's racks are backordered. If you think you'll want it within the next couple of months, I'd go for it...might not be available from 1Up for a while.

"BACKORDER ALERT! Due to the cycling market explosion, order processing is expected to reach 45 business days. Orders without expedited shippingcannotbe guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas. Thank you for your understanding!"
