    Morning all! :hattip:

Leaves are finally starting to fall here which leads me to this!:

If I ever come in here and mention that we bought a house with a pool surrounded by trees that shed twice a year, any of you have my express written permission to find me and punch me in the sack for being stupid!

This time of year its the dead leaves filling the pool, skimmers, you name it. 2x daily gotta clean baskets and every other day gotta clean skimmer basket on filter pump which mean re-priming the pump which can EABOD's.

Same in the spring but with seed pods and petals from as the tree bloom. :frusty::frusty::frusty:

Actually it's not as expensive as I would have guessed at all and its a new home. $1500 for 6 nights with 4 people.
Soo that means that a pool is a new home requirement?

Not a requirement of mine but wouldn't say no if it's the right house AND no shedding trees. If is wasn't for the trees at our current house pool would be MUCH easier to take care of.

UPDATE: We use a web based app to run pool from my phone. Their network went down this morning so now I have to either run everything manually or drag a laptop down to the equipment room when I attempt to prime the pump again this afternoon. :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

It has not been the best week ever so far. :pout:

I know the pain so I’ll come find you and do it. Lol

Most the fire starter is down here.( I’m calling the dead leaves fire starter) for us here the spring is worse with the blooming shit that’s closer to the pool than the big trees.

Apologies if I've shared any of this previously...

Most people know what Minecraft is, but few knew what it was before Microsoft bought it when it was in its early development stages. @Twizted and I were beta users and actually ran an open map where users could join our community and come play with us. Using a lot of other user created plug ins and whatnot we had quite the thriving group of folks some of which I'm still friends with today, but I digress.

Anyway, I love all kinds of arts and crafts so Minecraft was an extension of that. I used to draw houses or look up buildings and recreate them in game and one of those buildings was the Parthenon. Since this was in the early days there was only about 80 different blocks to choose from so design was relatively limited, but I was pretty impressed with myself when all was said and done.

I could continue on about those days, good times. I think I'll spare y'all and save it for another day.

Thanks man! Need to know someone will come through and do it so I'm not tempted to make poor decisions while looking at houses in NOLA!

Fall hasn't been as bad until this year due to cold and warm spurts here. 30 one day and mid 60's for the next few for a couple of weeks now and none of the trees now WITAF to do. Normally trees dump quickly and it's been over in two weeks.

Spring is always worse cause the trees dump little seed pods first and then these thin little petals that love to clog the skimmer basket at the pump.

I told them what you said....and the look of sheer terror on their faces was worth the trip back to the factory. I think they're done messing with me.

    Wouldn't be the first time:anonymous:

    Great story! Keep them coming!

Think I'll go to town, grab a soda and maybe snap a random or two.

    Side note:
    Today I have

    Mopped both bathrooms
    Mopped the kitchen
    Cleaned toilets
    Dusted living room
    Vacuumed living room and hallway
    Did a load of towels
    Washed shower liner
    Washed bathroom rug
Dug a pile of slop/hair from my wife's sink that was about a mile long.
Oh, picked up free ham. It's about the size of a grapefruito_O.....tight bastards.
Gonna pile up like a fat hog the rest of the day.
