How many of you all fill up at a costco ? I hear costco gasoline quality is pretty decent stuff.

Whenever I'm there I do. It's good gas, plus the station is always super busy and one of the lowest priced in my area. It's good that its busy because the fuel is always fresh but it can be a 4 to 7 car wait sometimes to get an open pump.

Not only is it flammable, its inflammable.

Realistically gas differs station to station, season to season, and altitude to altitude. Costco is a reseller, they dont have any of their own refineries so they are going to bid on different contracts for bigger companies to fill, some might add a different blend of 11 herbs and spices but dont think about it that hard. If there is a difference, the only thing you can do is measure it.

Best deal around. Even better when you consider the additional 4% off with their credit card.

It is the only place that I trust outside of actual branded Chevron, Exxon, 76, etc. stations.

I think it's pretty great gas. I live in downtown Houston, so regular unleaded gas is usually a little above, or below $2/gallon here. I can get 93 octane from Costco for $1.80 - $1.99/gal right next to my workplace and it runs great and eliminates this small tick I get when I hit 40 MPH when I use regular unleaded.

It's my primary spot to fill up at

now if I could just get a chicken out by the pumps instead of going inside it would be perfecto

Pfft! I've walked in just for a $5 chicken. :santa2:

Now that we have self checkout, it is soooooo much faster.

I fill up there if not too busy. I think ohert than E content and octane and some nonsense additives most retail fuel is about same for passenger vehicles. I do however avoid stations that are just getting or recently got their tanks refilled since it can kick up particles in tank before time to settle. Just an odc habit of mine lol

I usually try Costco first, if there are 12 cars waiting at each pump I'll pay the extra 5 cents and drive to the empty Chevron next door.

It is a Tier 1 gasoline.

I filled up for the price of $1.50 a gallon, two days ago.

Plus 4% cash back on your Costco Card.

    $1.50 - $0.06 (4%) = $1.44 a gallon (including state and federal taxes)

I feel the same way... I usually fill up at about 1/4 tank, so about 15 gallons +- ... It's worth it to me to spend the extra dollar, and not have to wait in line.

Wow, a buck & a half a gallon? Here I was feeling pretty happy about paying a tick over $2.00 a few days ago.

Love that their station opens at 6am before the rest of the store does. Hit the station on the way to work and rarely have more than one or two cars in line.

Have been using it for years, always the cheapest around.
There are only 2 gas distribution points in my city and all gas comes from one of the 2 so basically the same gas with a little additive in each truckload.
