    Grrrrrr.
That nice new frame don’t look so good now!
Second snow here roads were slick guy went right on red had traffic waiting to his left didn’t see me nor I him until the last second.
Dammit she was up for the long haul.
    Oil every 3 k.
    Toyota filters.
New frame 30k ago with power steering rack hoses inner outer rods and lines.
Lower steering shaft body mounts shocks.
New clutch and rear main last yr.
new Cooper evolution mts for summer and 2nd winter on the general Altimax attics.
Did the ac 2 yrs ago and did the denso compressor instead of the Delphi gm one.
194k and she’s a 08 but she was like new.
Yea I had full coverage worth the extra 50$ a year. They will give me maybe 8k I’m sure it'll be over 20k to replace what I had.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
The front of the leaf spring mont punctured the muffler. I’d say she’s toast sucks!
We were both ok I’d say he’s pretty sore right now it pretty near ripped the front of his Passat off. I could see white dust on him when we spoke. I’m thinking it was from the air bag.
So this is my new pic seeing my frame ain’t so pretty anymore. Told the wrecker guy not to scratch the frame with his hooks he looked at me like I had 3 eyes. [IMG]Not sure where we go from here. I’d love another taco. Prices are outrageous I already miss her.

Thanks bud the pics aren’t working!
Been having issues with our server I had to put pics in little batch’s to send to insurance. I’m hoping they can pull it straight and I don’t want to have to buy another!
    She wasn’t just a vehicle!!

Without being able to see the damage and going by your listed heavy investment in the truck, I say buy it back from the insurance and fix it.

Sorry to hear that. It’s frustrating, but you’re here to write about it. That’s what matters.

If I can buy back a vehicle cheap, I have no issues getting the frame fixed and rockin' a vehicle with a salvage title. Owned several salvage titled vehicles in the past and never an issue with them, even when selling.

After looking at your pics, definitely would buy back.

Pics are loaded now. If the damage is just that area shown in the pics, I would definitely consider buying it back, regardless if frame was even tweaked. If I had to choose frame damage front or rear, I'll take rear every time. Not many moving parts like front suspension to get it driveable.

    Stock for now.. maybe
Sorry buddy, that super sucks. There are so many bad drivers out there. Even being a defensive drive doesn't help sometimes. A few weeks ago I was on interstate in heavy traffic and couldn't understand why people would even try to wieve in and out so close, even a few big trucks

yes I agree. It would take a beater while it was being repaired. Frame was pristine coated from new! This is like worst case she’s been paid off for yrs and had good maintenance but isn’t worth chit by book.
My wife’s Subaru is the same ain’t worth crap by book but is in like new condition.
Her 09 forester has close to 150k.

    I appreciate it man.
Feel I should have been more on point but I shouldn’t have had too.
We both have made mistakes he didn’t do it on purpose and guess I could have been more vigilant?
He sad he was sorry ? Times.

Weird, the frame looks alright in the pic there but seems like the front spring hangar broke off? I'm sure the frame is probably tweaked if that happened

Up to you if you want to buy it back and try to get it fixed, I would have a frame shop tell you if they think it's able to be fixed or not before you do.

Exactly what I am gonna do.
Long story wrecker company wasn’t available at the time. Cops called next on their list. Fn 40 miles away from me. Wanted 5$ a mile cash to bring me home 15 miles away.
Said f it bring me home. They didn’t charge me after talking to each other on the way.
My insurance is having it brought to a local shop that has a frame machine.
