What's your Tacoma's name Thread

Ya know for some reason I've always given names to my pickup trucks through the years and got to thinking if I'm the only one that does this or are there others out there like me.

I've always named them "Maria" (for some reason) until I got the VooDoo Blue color in 2020 and decided to name him "BigBlue".

I'm really curious to know what others have named their pickup trucks (and why) so let's keep it clean and attach a picture. Fire away ! ! !

 

Ladybird, specifically after hank hills dog. Girlfriend was cracking jokes bc this is my first pickup and I've been very enthusiastic about it, ive never been a name your car person but I do love KotH so this one stuck haha

Black Long Bed Double Cab 2006 - Shaniqua... because she is black and has a big booty
White Access Cab 2006 - TT06... because I have no creativity
Inferno Double Cab 2017 - Scarlett - because redheads

 

Great names... I call mine The TacoVerde (hi vis green & desert camo are my favorite colors, but those colors weren’t available so I have green tailgate letters etc).

 

Even though I have a 2nd Gen, mine is called "the Rorschach Test" due to 1. My profession, and 2. due to the act that everytime a person looks at it they see something a little different.

I usually name all of my vehicles but I’m still deciding on the name 1 month in.

 

My 2016 TRD Sport was "Habanero" as it was orange. My 2020 TRD Sport is "Ghost" because it is red. Can you tell I am a hot sauce aficionado?

 

I named my teddy bears/toys when I was small kid. I outgrew that. I find the naming of inanimate objects strange as an adult.
Same goes for calling inanimate objects male/female pronouns. Very strange practice to me.

I'm a car geek, so I understand these things have different characteristics and diving experiences [much like humans], but to go so far as naming them?

maybe someone can explain it to me? what persuades someone to give an inanimate object a human name as opposed to saying 'My Tacoma'?
