    I’d like a Mercedes Benz just for the bragging rights I guess. What you said earlier about how advanced the Camry has become is very true, but it’ll never have the prestige of being a Mercedes Benz no matter how close they both are in terms of creature comforts

    Well true, and with Mercedes now making a compact car that borders on affordable, almost anyone can get on that train. What class would you get? Personally, I'd go back a couple generations and get the manual-only Audi RS4. Prestige is good, but drivability is also important. Mercedes has been diving into a lot of different markets and a lot of their models have sort of blended together recently. Most people don't know an S class from a C class, but you're right, they see the logo
