I just relocated mine from the lowest spot (where it was installed at the factory) to the highest spot (where yours apparently is). I'm gonna be stoked on that gain! Wouldn't be that hard to move up even further with some careful measuring and a tap.

Nope, but think about doing it every time I spend some nights in it. Thanks for the reminder while my feet are on the ground. It is now on my to-do list.

And... I just drilled a 3” hole with an angled bore through a perfectly good camper last night. The point of no return.

Looking good! I finally replaced the rear hatch with barn doors and made the bed lift up with gas struts. These are working out great for us. Still have a long way to go but we will get there.

You want the ones that go up higher. Not sure those do any good..

Total Chaos are the stiffeners I have and are a popular choice.

Looks awesome! I'd love to have barn doors on my wedge. I assume you made them?

Does anyone know how to remove the light knob??

I tried to just pop it out and but it won’t give. The knob might be a threaded screw? Don’t want to break it. Anyone know?

Take the whole panel off so you can see the back!

Okay I figured it out. All you do it wiggle the knob and pull. Duh! Was doing that before but without wiggling.

    All Done!

This should be alot easier to turn off the light when on the upper level.

I used stainless steel bolts that were 1.25" long with fender washers. It's plenty strong. It should be an option because Its so useful climbing on and off the tailgate and lifting the tent.

great minds think alike.. I have this exact setup, except I have a 100w solar, and a much smaller battery. Sounds like I need an upgrade when my new camper is built. What battery are you using?

Not quite, but close. It's for the direct vent flue on the propane fireplace.

Some more progress on the galley cabinet. The outer frame is done but I still need to do the pieces that will become part of the storage on the interior. Countertop is cut and the stove and sink are fitted. I still need to put a finished surface on the countertop.

    galley01.jpg

I was looking high and low for a single burner drop-in stove. I finally found a used Dometic model that's in nice shape. I located it on the left side to keep it away from the bed (when the bed is deployed).

    galley02.jpg

Here's a view with the bed deployed. I wanted both sink and stove to be usable with the bed out (brushing teeth at night, etc. and coffee or tea in the morning / evening). The sink has a cutting board which will double as a night-stand.

    galley03.jpg

Another layer of the sink; a strainer basket. This is a Ruvati RVH8215, 16-ga. stainless steel, made in Austin, TX. Impressive quality. I purchased it from Panther RV Products.

    galley04.jpg

Bottom grid with deep basket strainer.

    galley05.jpg

The faucet is an Ambassador Marine model Elite Arc with folding spout. It folds down so the Drifter bed platform can slide over top.

    I'll be your first customer when you decide to do build outs for people (;

Looking great man! Very impressed. Looking at that same faucet to be able to get more height out of my kitchen setup.

Thanks! I don't think I'll be getting into the build out business anytime soon. :) FYI to folks looking at this faucet - the casting of the body at the top of the threaded stem is a smaller diameter than a typical kitchen sink hole. So, I'm going to have to come up with a spacer to make up the difference. The black ring shown in the pics above is just a rubber washer (temporary).
