Thanks. I will have to look more carefully. I was toying with the idea of a second battery there as well.

Just find someone parting out a truck on here, didn't take me long and they usually let them go for cheap.

Got this center console off of Craigslist. Out of a 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport. Ended up fitting between my seats perfectly, lining up with the shift boot holder decently, and granted me enough room to mount my seat heater switches. The kicker is that it matches my seats! But man, I have cup holders out the ass.

Those are actually not seat covers. A guy at the local upholstery shop hooked me up a few years ago

I replaced just the glass, much cheaper.

    Mill scale keeps rust away...

What did you notice in this regard?

Here's the result of the next DV trip; again, lots of night driving (same amount, really as the trip was exactly the same length). Still with LED headlights, but with the larger Ham antenna. Similar beaconing I'd say, though clearly more beacons with the better antenna.

Next trip will be with "normal" headlights and new antenna (at least, that's the plan).

I was under the impression that a good primer + paint combo will stick to cleaned and scuffed steel better than it would to mill scale. And its smoother this way.

The shell thing broke, and it looks trashy without it.
